Join the adventure of a lifetime as we make science fiction real and change the world.  As a Software Engineer on the Automation Infrastructure team at Oculus, you'll ensure the delivery of a great developer experience. You will build, enhance, monitor, and maintain necessary automation infrastructure to support this effort. You will also build some sample apps for our developers to showcase the new and exciting products and features we have. You will have the opportunity to partner with many different teams across Facebook and Oculus. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented engineer with expertise in gaming/graphics industry with a passion for quality and Virtual Reality.


  • Help deliver an exceptional virtual reality developer experience by improving performance and quality of our SDK and our engine integration across our products
  • Build sample apps to enable our developers using our developer product
  • Partner with engineering team to improve the overall developer experience quality
  • Design, build, and maintain automation that is robust and scalable across multiple products
  • Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression tests

Minimum Qualification

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years work experience in developing and building internal tools and/or automation frameworks
  • 2+ years professional experience coding in Python, Java, or equivalent language
  • Experience building, shipping, and maintaining high quality software
  • Working knowledge of QA methodology, testing techniques and approaches

Preferred Qualifications

  • Virtual Reality experience
  • Knowledge of Windows and Android OS, especially in graphics and performance
  • 3+ years experience in low-level systems in C/C++
