Store Operations Manager

Publishing & Developer Relations | Menlo Park, California

As a member of the Oculus Publishing and Developer Relations team, you will engage, support, and drive successful commercial outcomes for a wide range of developers and content partners on the Oculus Store. The ideal candidate is already well-versed in mobile or PC app store distribution and strongly believes in providing an efficient and empathetic developer experience while ensuring high quality content for consumers.


  • Supervise the submission and publishing pipeline for the Oculus Store, evaluate submissions for quality, propose and implement policy updates
  • Work closely with the developer strategy team on launch strategy for tier 1 partners, advising on launch date, price, artwork, and marketing plan
  • Communicate submission progress across the Oculus Publishing team, highlighting risks, concerns, and blockers
  • Coordinate with Oculus cross-functional teams to iterate and optimize the design and operations of the submission and publishing process. Identify process improvements and translate developer needs into software features and capabilities
  • Supervise QA process, update test plans and procedures, triage bugs with partner engineering team as necessary
  • Configure and execute launches in content management system
  • Monitor store performance metrics and drive programs to amplify top applications and generate the best possible outcomes for developer success

Minimum Qualification

  • 2+ years experience with digital content operations and distribution
  • Prior experience communicating with internal and external content creators
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • High volume partner management, tracking progress in a customer relationship management system such as Salesforce
  • Familiarity with QA best practices
  • Strong analytical skills and experience driving change in a data-driven workplace
  • Inclination for documenting processes and learnings, both for internal and public consumption
  • Passionate about new technology and virtual reality
