The Teamcenter administrator will be the first and main point of contact for any Teamcenter related issues. You will be the super-user providing expertise, training, and ongoing support to all users. In addition, the administrator will manage the Teamcenter database and help drive/guide the evolution of Teamcenter as we expand our use of its capabilities. Administrative functions will cover several areas including NX with Teamcenter, Teamcenter (and BMIDE) and Support

Responsibilities

  • Administration of Teamcenter, including license management, roles, permissions and organizations, command suppression
  • Perform Teamcenter system administrator activities, such as removing process and data locks, create and manage workflows and statuses as needed, manage folder structure, create queries
  • Manage Standards, symbols, templates and PAX files
  • Structure manager, manage variants
  • Drive and ensure best practices in document control process and procedures including revision rules (assembly load options)
  • Continuously improve and optimize system architectural elements for enhanced performance and scalability, including maintenance patches
  • Create development database, develop use and test cases and lead testing for feature releases
  • Create documents defining processes and procedures for best Teamcenter practices
  • Act as point person for Siemens problem resolution
  • Provide Teamcenter training to new users and guidance to existing project teams, act as first point of contact for problem resolution and resolve key systemic production issues
  • Manage NX licenses and integration with Teamcenter
  • Manage NX “Start” files (parts, drawings, templates)
  • Manage NX site defaults and preference
  • PLM functions including part numbering, naming, revision rules and variants,
  • Folder management and control site file locations

Minimum Qualification

  • Teamcenter configuration and customization for BMIDE, Active Workspace, SWIM
  • Teamcenter infrastructure architecture knowledge and experience
  • An understanding of configuration management and document control best practices
  • Analytical and process management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Agile PLM
  • Familiar with Dropbox
  • Drafting experience
  • Knowledge of consumer electronics
